The Korean American Academy of Lifelong Education (KAALE) encourages, supports, and recognizes Korean and Korean American students' research contributions to adult education and lifelong learning.

General Eligibility
An applicant should meet the following criteria:

Applicants for the award must have been enrolled in adult education, lifelong learning, or closely related graduate programs (e.g. higher education, workforce education).

Current member of KAALE: If you are not currently a member of KAALE, you can join by visiting the KAALE homepage.

Papers must be authored solely by a graduate student; if co-authored, a graduate student must be the first author.

Full papers accepted for academic conferences are eligible for the KAALE OGRA application. Papers are to be broadly within the field of adult education. Topics under the field of adult education include, but are not limited to:

Adult learning theory and practices
-
Learning within workplaces and organizations
-
Globalization, transnational migration and education
-
Sustainability, community development and learning
-
(Digital) literacy and basic skills learning
-
Indigenous perspectives and the politics of knowledge

Agreement to register and attend the KAALE meeting held at the AAACE Annual Meeting.
