Appropriate PhD
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Preferred Education and Experience:
Doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction, or related field
Experience developing professional learning experiences for adult learners
Experience working with and supporting large-scale research; experience in education and psychology related data collection, verification, and analysis
Experience with evidence-based brief psychological or motivational interventions
Experience related to dissemination including developing manuscripts and presentations
Experience working with diverse populations
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Expertise in motivation theories
Expertise in quantitative data collection, management, and analysis
Expertise in scientific writing and publication skills
Intermediate level knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Organized; pays attention to details
Strong language skills in English
Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
Advanced research methods (ARM) certificate
Responsibilities: Professional Development
Coordination of professional learning opportunities for mentors
Coordination of induction/professional learning opportunities for residents/participants
Track professional learning experiences
Data Apparatus
Build repository for data management
Identify survey instruments for evaluation and research needs
Data Collection
Support consent form collection and processing
Configure assessments using relevant software, assist with collection, verification, and cleaning of data.
Mentoring and Supporting Data Analysis Skills
Support grant personnel with data analysis
Provide training and mentoring of graduate students to strengthen data analysis skills
Data Analysis
Quantitatively analyze survey classroom observations via research-developed multi-dimension observation instruments
Utilize statistics analysis package (e.g., Mplus, SAS, SPSS, STATA, or R) to conduct the following analyses:
hierarchical linear model; structure equation modeling; confirmatory factor analysis, exploratory factor analysis
Dissemination of Data
Develop and submit proposals, present findings at research conferences.
Develop high quality scientific manuscripts by preparing methods, analysis, and findings Writing proposals related to conferences to disseminate project findings, manuscripts, abstracts, and reports related to project.

Performs other duties as assigned.
