POSITION SUMMARY The Career, Workforce and Adult Education Program in the Department of Leadership, Counseling, Adult, Career and Higher Education (LCACHE) at the University of South Florida invites applications for two full-time Open Rank positions (Instructor and/or tenure track at the Assistant, Associate and Full levels). The position start date is August 7, 2020 and is a 9-month position with a teaching load in the academic year that is commensurate with rank and dependent on research and scholarship productivity and summer appointment. The position requires ability to teach in both the master's degree program in Career and Technical Education and the Ph.D. program in Career and Workforce Education. Both master's and doctoral programs are fully online. The programs develop students' understanding of the nature of effective education and workforce connections in the context of a global economy and provide students with the knowledge and skills to shape and organize responsive career and workforce education systems. The programs emphasize a sound theoretical and research-based foundation combined with integrated and challenging applications to problems of practice.
QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM:
Doctorate in Career and Technical Education, Workforce Education, Adult/Lifelong Learning or related fieldsEvidence of career and technical and/or workforce education as a key emphasis in research agendaExperience in graduate program development and administrationExperience in online graduate level teaching and doctoral advisingActive record of nationally/internationally recognized scholarship commensurate with rankDemonstrated ability to attract, secure and manage federal grants/awardsPREFERRED:
